Jewelry

While living in Tununak, between 1991-1995 Oscar developed jewelry that combines a contemporary format that other ivory carvers had never seen before. A marriage of mastodon ivory, walrus ivory, whale baleen, and porcupine quills with silver, gold and brass metals.
With a staff of two, they combined jewelry that influenced the way carvers in the region began to develop their designs.
